More specifically, an audio input device works as a tool to record music and input sounds into the computer. There is also something called the computer audio device. Basically it is an audio card, more of a computer extension card that assists in the input and output of sounds into and out from the computer. The drivers will create communication channels between the device and the computer. A message of error will be displayed if the device is not detected by the computer.
